CVB2 Lesson 20 7 Videos

Lesson 20, the 4th grip!

This is an easy one, as it is the same grip as the 3rd grip.
The only difference is that it is a semi-tone higher.
Where we practiced the scales of Ab, Eb and Bb, now we will move them up by a semi-tone.
We will then get the scales of A, E and B, having 3, 4 and 5 sharps.

Downloads of pages and backing-tracks are the buttons below the video.

Smartphone users:
Turn your smartphone horizontal.

Lesson 20 The Forth Grip.

The overview of the 4th grip.
This will be quite easy as the 4th grip is the same as the 3rd, only a semi-tone higher.
Follow these steps and prepare yourself for the 3 scales we will practice in the next tabs.

I will also explain the 5/8th time signature.
I would want you to learn the importance of the “pulse”.
If you feel the pulse of the 5/8th, you will be able to play odd time signatures with ease.

Let’s dive in!
